How it works
A narrow workflow: identify the item, gather comparable listings, and estimate a defensible ask.
- Describe the item Type keywords or paste a supported marketplace listing URL.
- Find current comps CompCheck queries supported marketplaces for active listings.
- Filter & score Weak matches are down-ranked or removed before analysis.
- See the range Review asking-price stats and a transparent suggested listing band.
Current capabilities
Based on the CompCheck application as implemented today. Claims stay within what the product actually ships.
Asking-price analysis
Median, quartiles, and a cautious suggested listing range with written rationale. Asking prices are never labeled as completed sales.
Accounts & usage limits
Free monthly lookup allowance with optional paid upgrade plumbing (when billing credentials are configured by the operator).
Demo-safe fallback
When live marketplace credentials are absent, clearly labeled demo fixtures can power local inspection — never mixed in as live sold data.
Not in current V1: sold-price comps, scraping of Poshmark / Mercari / Depop / Vinted, inventory ERP features, or guaranteed sale prices.
